Liverpool may leave Anfield

Liverpool's owners, John Henry, hinted that the club's headquarters will move from Anfield to Stanley Park.

"Anfield is certainly our top choice. However, the fact may bring us in different directions. There are so many obstacles ..." Henry said through a Twitter account devoted to ArberLFCFAN.

Henry, through Fenway Sports Group, to buy Liverpool from George Gillett and Tom Hicks in October 2010. One of their programs is to increase revenue by increasing the capacity Anfield crowd, from 45,000 to 60,000 people.

According to the Telegraph, on the way, Henry finds it difficult to develop Anfield, for example about the financial, logistical, and geographical.

Even so, Liverpool's own state has not given up and will try to Anfield could be developed and, by so doing, they do not have to move the headquarters.

"The position of the club on the stadium has not changed and there has been no decision (about the stadium)," said a Liverpool spokesman told the Telegraph.
