When The General Killer is Crying


Cold-blooded killer who claimed thousands of lives of Muslims of Bosnia, Ratko Mladic, apparently could not help crying in front of his headstone. Also broke into tears while saying good-bye with his wife and her sister to undergo trial in The Hague, Netherlands.

Lawyers Mladic in Belgrade, Milos Saljic, quoted by the Associated Press, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, said before leaving Serbia on Tuesday night local time, Mladic was crying when visited by his wife and her younger sister for the last time.

Saljic said his wife brought a large suitcase containing clothes for as long in prison. Mladic not withstand the power of emotion and tears unstoppable again. On his flight for 16 years, this wife who accompanied him at a house in town Lazarevo, about 100 km from the city of Belgrade.


Earlier on Tuesday morning, Mladic is given the opportunity to visit the tomb of his daughter, Ana, in a suburb of Belgrade. The visit was kept secret by the Serbs in order to maintain the security and sanctity of the pilgrimage.

"We did not announce his visit to the tomb because it is a personal thing and for the sake of security issues," said deputy prosecutor, Bruno Vekaric.

On a visit that lasted for 22 minutes, Mladic burn candles and placed wreaths of roses on the grave Ana. Vekaric said that Mladic had cried when looking at her daughter's headstone had committed suicide.

Ana, 23, a medical student, committed suicide in 1994 by using his father's gun. He did not leave a piece of scrap message, and the media think Ana committed suicide because of depression knowing his father's role in the Bosnian War.

Ana denied Mladic committed suicide. He said that Ana was killed by a war opponent, because the gun was found in his left hand, but he was not left-handed.
