Ship Humanitarian Mission to Gaza Sabotaged

One out of ten ships in the flotilla Flotilla II will sail to Gaza sabotaged by unknown persons. However, the damage is not too severe and do not hinder them to send aid to Gaza.

Quoted from page Associated Press, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, the propeller shaft ship 'Juliano' cut off when docked in the port of Piraeus, Greece.

"Fortunately, the damage can be repaired before we left at the end of this week," said a statement issued by the Swedish activists.

They say that there are divers who damaged their ship. This action is done to stop them across the sea towards the Israeli blockade of Gaza. "Someone tried to stop the flotilla to sail," the statement again.

Juliano ship is one of 10 ships of the fleet of humanity 'Free Gaza Movement'. The mission is called "Freedom Flotilla II - Stay Human 'is once again trying to break through Israel's blockade of Gaza. Earlier in the year ago, Israel attacked the Mavi Marmara, a fleet of aid, and killed dozens of people.

On a mission to come, about 10 activists from Indonesia reportedly joined in this action, although the threat is very serious. Earlier, Israeli military spokesman, Avital Leibovich said that the intelligence they reported the existence of harmful chemicals carried by the activists to the militant Hamas.

This is disputed by one of the organizers, Dror Feiler. He said hundreds of people who participated in the Flotilla has vowed not to commit acts of violence. They also say the goods they carry pure relief materials, including the form of building materials to build the hospital.
