Some faculties to shut in Abu Dhabi

Six villa faculties in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain can shut down this summer in accordance with the government’s decide to relocate students attending villa faculties to purpose-built facilities.

More than three,200 students learning in these villa faculties move to 3 new non-public faculties at govt facilities for future tutorial year, reported 'Khaleej Times'.

Baraem Al Aqsa non-public college, Badr Al Kobr non-public college and Al Ekhlass non-public college in Abu Dhabi and Al Amal non-public college, International non-public college and Zahrat Al Madain non-public college in Al Ain follow the UAE Ministry OF Education (MoE) curriculum.

The new faculties can begin operations this September from the buildings formerly called Al Dana college (Abu Dhabi Island), Al Mutasem college (Baniyas) and Al Sarooj college (Al Ain).

About 1,650 students in Abu Dhabi Island and one,600 students in Al Ain can have priority placement within the new faculties however  Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) urged folks to register their youngsters by the tip of July at any of those faculties because the new faculties can open up registration for different students on August one.

Yousif Al Sheryani, govt Director for personal faculties and Quality Assurance at Adec said "the new faculties can stay cheap with solely a small twenty per cent increase. “It i not a big increase considering that they're moving to a purpose-built school".

In September, forty three villa faculties can stay in operation, that are scheduled to shut down by 2013.
