One high-ranking al-Qaeda who was rumored to be replacing Osama, Ilyas Kashmiri reportedly killed in a missile attack carried out by U.S forces.Near Afghanistan border, Friday 3 June 2011.He also been reportedly killed in 2009, but the news was wrong.
According to the page of  the Associated Press, the official confirmation of the death of Ilyas Kashmiri is very difficult to obtain, either from the U.S. and Pakistani officials. However, based on a fax from the militant group led by Ilyas Kashmiri - Harakat ul Jihad al-Islami, known as the scary 'Brigade 313 - confirmed dead in an attack on Kashmiri tribe of  South Waziristan region on Friday afternoon at 11:15 local time.
A Pakistani official who requested anonymity said that the target Khasmiri is shared between Pakistan and the USA.Ilyas Khasmiri is one of five most wanted militant leaders and are involved in the attack on the hotel Mumbay India, 2008.
Kashmiri was accused of involvement in attacks on some U.S. facilities and his friends. In addition to Mumbay 2008 attacks that killed 160-of people, Kashmiri is also accused of involvement in planning attacks Danish magazine that published cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in 2005. In addition, he is accused of involvement in suicide bombings at the U.S. consulate building in Karachi in 2006 that killed four people, including U.S. diplomats.
